I believe weather is more than just a forecast. I enjoy the challenge of simplifying a complicated, fluid science in ways that help people understand how it impacts them. To build that trust, I believe school visits and community events are necessary to get to know the viewers. I connect with people through engaging videos for social media and managing a mobile application.
I was born and raised in Tennessee, and I love the outdoors. From kayaking to camping, I enjoy getting to know new places. Outdoor fun is a family affair with my husband, our two kids, and two adopted dogs.
Inside the home, I'm a real DIY'er. I love crafts, like sewing and home decor projects, but I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty with power tools. For years, I managed an on-air and online video segment where I tested crafts, projects, and recipes.
